Ken Naglewski – Business Strategy and Transformational Leadership Advisor

Ken is a versatile senior executive with extensive C-level experience at Fortune 500 and middle-market companies. As CEO, COO and CFO he has been involved in over fifty M&A and financing transactions, numerous crisis management and restructuring transactions and insolvency proceedings. Ken has worked with companies throughout the United States as well as Western and Eastern Europe, Mexico, Canada, and the Far East. Broad experience with numerous companies provides him with the seasoned insight to quickly assess challenging strategic situations and develop actionable plans.


Ken is a frequent speaker and author on business transformation and restructuring. Ken is a CPA as well as Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor and a Certified Turnaround Professional. In 2007 the M&A Advisor named Ken Turnaround Consultant of the Year.





Dom Di Dia - Operational Excellence and Organizational Development Advisor

Dom’s corporate operations career included working in companies of all sizes, both at home and abroad, leading/transforming them to outperform at every level. Experiences include leadership roles in growth, turnarounds, consolidations, acquisitions and start-up environments. He considers the best part of organizational leadership being focused on people who are the true assets in any business. He has a unique ability to bring calm to the stressed, unsettled business climate of companies facing rapid growth, business trauma and cultural identity and, in a non-fear driven way, lead stakeholders to a buy-in proposition that helps companies succeed.


He’s managed, led, and, most of all, enjoyed the dynamics of Senior Leadership in vibrant organizations like DuPont, Bostik, Avery Dennison, Intertape Polymer Group, Courtaulds, Clondalkin and Jomy Products and Consulting roles in other companies most notably, Vistage International. Additionally, he has lived/worked in Europe and managed outsourcing relationships in the Middle & Far East and Europe.






Susan Grattino - Strategic Marketing and Growth Leadership Advisor

Susan is an experienced marketing consultant who helps companies with the development of strategic and tactical marketing plans. Her specialty is market research, marketing planning and tactical implementation of marketing programs. Ms. Grattino was Director of Marketing Services for a marketing consulting company where she managed the development of strategic and tactical marketing plans, developed related revenue projections and budgets, and managed the execution of the related marketing programs. She has experience writing business plans, human resource training manuals and disaster recovery plans as an employee and as an independent consultant. She has worked both domestically and internationally throughout Europe, South America and Asia. She also has experience as a software developer, management consultant, and pre-sales consultant.


Susan holds a dual undergraduate degree in Management Information Systems and Accounting, and achieved Certified Public Accountant designation in 1996. Susan also holds a graduate degree in International Management from The American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird) with a concentration in international marketing and finance.




Norm LaVigne, Jr. - Strategic Sales and Growth Leadership Advisor

Norman has over twenty years of business to business experience in strategic sales planning and implementation for Industry Leading Industrial Automation companies including Emerson Electric, Danaher, and Invensys. His career has been committed to commercializing new and existing technology products, such as Hand Held Analyzers, Process Instrumentation, Adjustable Speed Drive Systems, Light Sensors, and Intelligent Process Controls and Systems. Norman is passionate about business innovation, embracing technology, and enabling new market opportunities for his clients. Norm strategically partners with clients on a product-specific basis to enable rapid sales growth of existing new products while conducting targeted market research to identify new market opportunities for the future. His focus in all engagements is to support the clients most critical business needs for accelerating their sales growth and creating sustainable change.


Norm received his Masters of Business Administration, University of Indianapolis and his Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Western New England College.




Aimee Miller - Communications and Growth Leadership Advisor

Aimee provides strategic marketing and public relations services to clients in a variety of industries including real estate, retail, design and construction, financial services and technology. For more than 15 years, she has put her marketing and communications skills to work to promote clients’ businesses. Prior to embarking on a consulting career, Aimee held the position of Marketing Director for a Denver-based professional services firm and was an Account Supervisor at the Integer Group managing promotional programs for Coors Brewing Worldwide. She has executed public relations and event marketing campaigns at other large advertising and promotional agencies, including Frankel in Chicago, for brands such as McDonald’s, Oldsmobile and Marshall Field’s.

Aimee's PR background has delivered major media coverage for clients across a variety print, broadcast and online media outlets. She has a bachelor’s degree in both Journalism & Mass Communications and Sociology from the University of Iowa. 





Peter Shepard - Financial Leadership and Capital Structure Advisor

Peter is a seasoned CFO with public company and private equity sponsored entities, raising capital and turnaround experience. He advises with Summit Group Partners on client’s capital structure and identification of the optimal sources when additional capital is required. His experience has covered the technology, financial services, and real estate markets from early stage startups to recapitalizations to supporting future growth initiatives. Peter is the former President & CEO of CapTerra Financial Group, Inc. (CPTA.OB), a firm in the commercial real estate finance sector. Previously, he was CFO of GDBA Investments where he worked with a portfolio of venture capital and private equity backed companies. From 2005 to 2007 he was Senior Vice President & CFO of Millennium Venture Group (MVG), a PE-backed company. Under Peter’s guidance, MVG successfully re-made is business model, recapitalized, replaced its senior management team and returned to profitable business.


Earlier in his career he worked for venture capital firms Constellation Real Technologies and the eCommerce Investments Group of GE Capital. Peter has been a board director of numerous companies and several not-for-profits. Peter received a BA from New York University, a JD from Cornell Law School and a Masters in Real Estate Development from MIT.




Kevin Blair - Mergers & Acquisitions and Capital Structure Advisor

Kevin’s focus for clients of Summit Group Partners is supporting them on both the buy and sell side of M&A engagements, including evaluating strategic options and formulating capital and transaction structure. Kevin has proven his leadership and expertise in a wide array of M&A transactions from retail and technology to real estate and manufacturing. He has completed in excess of 100 M&A transactions with nearly $1 billion in transaction value. He assesses the operations and performances of distressed companies in order to propose various strategic solutions. His experience includes but is not limited to pre-bankruptcy refinancing of existing debt, equity injections, management and/or operational restructuring and post filing sales of going concerns under section 363 and section 328 of the bankruptcy code.

Previously, Kevin was a Managing Director of 1031 ExChange Advisors, LLC where he was responsible for the firm’s private equity and tenant in common (TIC) practice. Prior to joining 1031 ExChange Advisors, LLC, Kevin co-founded MBA Investments, LLC, a successful Colorado M&A advisory firm and merchant bank, where he served as the firm’s co-Managing Director. Under Kevin’s leadership, the firm successfully closed numerous M&A and real estate transactions, which included three multi-million dollar investor syndicates for portfolio acquisitions. Kevin graduated from the Colorado School of Mines with a bachelor’s in Civil Engineering and the University of Denver’s College of Law with a juris doctor. He is currently completing a Masters of Taxation (LLM) from the University of Denver College of Law. He holds a law license, several real estate brokerage licenses and a series 7 securities license. He is a member of the International Business Brokerage Association and the Association for Corporate Growth.


Edward T. Larkin – Mergers & Acquisitions and Capital Structure Advisor

Edward T. Larkin is a specialist in mergers and acquisitions and managing capital structures. Over the span of his 30 plus year career he has worked with a variety of corporations guiding their growth strategy (including M&A activities such as acquisition strategy, due diligence, post-closing integration and financial accounting) as well as advising both start-ups and growth companies on raising and structuring capital.

Edward has held the title of CFO at three Colorado-based companies. In addition, he gained extensive experience and expertise in managing the day-to-day business and finance needs of traditional companies having held various Officer and Executive roles over the years in finance, accounting, manufacturing, customer service, sales and operational management. Edward’s hands-on experience across multiple industry sectors including print supply chain and logistics services, manufacturing, telecommunications, high tech and natural resources helped him build a strong reputation and enabled him to build a successful consulting business. Edward received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a double major in Accounting and Management from Northeastern University. In 1989, he was honored for his achievements in Accounting when he was a finalist at Ernst & Young to be considered as a Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) Fellow nominee. A natural leader and creative thinker, Larkin has served on the boards of many community service organizations.
